This month we were visited by ‘Dan the Skipping Man’ and his team. Each class took part in a skipping workshop and learned lots of new tricks. We also found out that there are some very talented skippers in our class and some children performed in front of the whole school!
We were also visited by Junior Tax guests where we took part in several activities where we looked at taxes. We looked at what taxes there are, why we pay taxes and how much tax is paid to the government every year. It was very interesting!
We were really lucky to have some Year 9 students from Bishop David Brown secondary school visit us to teach a Spanish session all about festivals. The children took part in a range of fun activities.
Art – Sculpture
Continuing on with our art unit, we have been taking part in some outdoor learning. We have been looking at natural materials and identifying how we can collate these together to form our own sculptures.
