We have started our new topic following the Christmas break and the children have been very enthusiastic learning about the Stone Age, asking lots of great questions. I have been very impressed with the Stone Age homes that have come in so far and shall be putting up photos at the end of next month.

     

In literacy, the children have been having lots of fun considering how they would wash a woolly mammoth. We have all agreed that it would be a very tricky job! To prepare us for writing instructions on how to do this, we had a go at washing some painted Lego pieces using sponges, toothbrushes, cloths etc. We then wrote instructions for this.
