How to join Reception

At St Mary's the published admission number is 60 at age 4+. Parents considering sending their children to St Mary's Reception classes in September 2024 can apply for a place from 30 October 2023. The closing date for on-time applications for primary, infant and junior school is 15 January 2024. Do visit the school before applying to enable you to meet the staff, see the school in action, and ask questions. In the summer term before your child starts Reception, we offer an induction session during which he / she will meet and get to know the teacher and a parent information evening both of which will prepare him / her for school.
